Bareilly: Students of the Cultural Club under the University Cultural Centre of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, brought laurels to the institution by securing three prizes in various competitions organised to mark World Ozone Day.
The competitions were held as part of a three-day programme organised by Bareilly College, Bareilly. Students from the University Cultural Centre participated enthusiastically in the events and showcased their talent in public speaking and poetry.
In the speech competition, Lavi Singh secured first place. Sunaina Saxena and Pranav jointly secured third place in the poetry conference, earning recognition for the university.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Anil Kumar Rai congratulated the winning students and said that students’ talents develop not only in classrooms but also through creative and co-curricular activities. He highlighted the role of the University Cultural Centre in providing opportunities to strengthen students’ communication skills, creativity, confidence and leadership abilities.
Registrar Mahendra Kumar Singh also congratulated the winners and appreciated the students’ continued participation and strong performances in various competitions.
Cultural Coordinator Dr Jyoti Pandey said the students’ achievement was a matter of pride for the Cultural Centre. She added that the centre continues to provide platforms for students to develop their skills and prepare for competitions at the state and national levels.
Faculty members, officials, teachers, employees, members of the Cultural Committee and Cultural Club students extended their congratulations and best wishes to the winners.
